Reupholstering Vanity Stools from A Ditchin' Time Quilts

Love these stools but not this fabric.

Time to refinish them.

This stool is by Uttermost!  It's so perfect for the look I am going for
because two of them fit perfectly under my McGee and Co table from Target!

I put them in my craft room and started to take them apart.
Covered with the fabric I used in my kitchen.

The how to is easy.  Turn it upside down, unscrew the seat and remove the staples with a staple remover.
The fabric was glued onto the cushion so I could not ...

My Kitchen Renovation from A Ditchin' Time Quilts

We took the wall out between the kitchen and the dining room to make it open concept!

This wall came out!

We took the bulk heads out!
Now the cabinets can go to the ceiling.
All the holes in these pictures was from our contractor to make sure he could take them out!

Love my design wall, out Batton and Board Wall made from all 4" PVC.  We painted it Sherwin Williams Bright white along with all the trim.  Walls are Sherwin Williams Olympus White (it's a gray blue).

My favorite part of the kitchen is the tile, that ...

Embellished Jean Jacket from A Ditchin' Time Quilts

J Crew jean jacket / size 2T

How did I do it?

Tilda Fabric with other scraps

I measured the space on the jacket that a pieced design would fit.  I then designed a square to fit the space  and made it.   Next, I added enough blue fabric all the way around the square to reach the seams where I planned on appliquéing into place.

The paper pattern was exact size but when I cut the shapes I added 0.25 inches on each edge or 0.5 inches total width.   For example: the center squares finished size is 2" x ...

Sage Vintage Lace Quilt from A Ditchin' Time Quilts

These are the colors I was asked to incorporate into the quilt.  Her crib sheet is on the left, paint color in the middle and on the right are the Robert Kauffman's Kona solids that would work best with this quilt.

I actually used the same colors and pattern that the quilt designer used.

Bathroom Renovations Begin from A Ditchin' Time Quilts

This has been a long time coming.  Kevin and I spent the last 10 years putting kids through college and we avoided keeping up with the house.  Now that we are empty nest, it was time to finally do some things to make our house a home.  When we bought this house, it was not the way we wanted but now it's time!  So here we go.  The master bathroom and the quest/hall bathroom is now gutted.  I will show some pictures as we go.

Turning Artwork into a QUILT from A Ditchin' Time Quilts

Here is a quilt finish, I made this quilt for her by using @monika_forsberg ‘s artwork (w/permission)! She is such an amazing artist from the United Kingdom.  Every time I see her work I think to myself, "that would be a beautiful quilt" so finally I got my nerve up to make it a reality.  I think she loves the results because she reposted my post!  Take a look at her IG page, it's amazing!  Right now as I am posting this she has 95 wonderful comments about how much everyone likes it.

You might ask me why ...
